Some work is currently underway: The vessel is currently stored ashore in a shipyard. The hull has been stripped of its antifouling, revealing small surface osmosis blisters that are currently being treated. The deck has been stripped of its teak, sanded, epoxy applied, then the deck has been painted with a non-slip coating and its watertightness checked. All seacocks and valves have been replaced, and the hull has been sanded and repainted. All damaged portlights have been redone, and the interior varnishes are being refurbished.

The steering system has been made more reliable by the installation of stops.
