2020-2021 River Pod 38 for sale
This is a very rare opportunity to buy a River Pod 38 houseboat. This is one of six that we have available which has been externally finished, but now requires the internal fit out to be completed. These six River pods were purchase by the current owner for a specific project to be fully fitted out by their own contractor. Unfortunately, the project they were going to be used on has not come to fruition and the owner has decided to sell them. They have been stored since construction in a large warm warehouse. they have never entered the water. The owner is open to offers and can be sold either individually or as a set of six.

Accommodation :
These River Pod 38’s have not been fitted out internally and are a blank canvas and can be fitted out to what ever design you require and make an exciting project.
They are often sold fully fitted out with either one or two bedrooms, bedroom, galley and lounge.
These six River Pods have waste holding tanks fitted and a 4ft balcony with composite decking.

History & Construction:
These River Pod 38’s have been built with a flotation system consisting of 38ft x 750 mm buoyancy at 50% submersion complete with internal bulk heads and access screwcaps which are air pressured tested and completed with HDPE fixing fins.
HDPE comes with a 125 year guarantee. Oxygen, salt and water do not affect HDPE and thus does not suffer over time. It does not need to be painted or antifouled. The River Pod flotation system will never need to be removed from the water for maintenance or cleaning unlike all other boat hulls. HDPE offers zero corrosion and thus reduced maintenance costs.
The sub frame of the houseboat is manufactured form U channel steel framework. the exterior frame work is made of galvanised ISON 1461 with internal cross strengthening members in the same galvanised ISON 1461.
The internal walls have all been CNC cut with double skin and marine ply framework. The total thickness is a 36mm Tyvek breathable membrane with composite cladding externally. The radius roof is made in plastisol steel profile sheet. All windows and doors are made of double glazed UPVC.
Each Pod has a 4ft balcony with galvanised steel rails and composite deck. Each pod has mooring cleats.

Two pods with cream outer cladding with Saragossa blue roofing, grey windows and doors.

Two pods with light oak cladding with Moorland light green roofing, green windows and doors.

Two pods with light grey cladding with Merling Grey roofing, grey windows and doors.
