The silhouette of the Windy SR 44 BlackHawk is the result of a collaboration between the Dubois firm and the shipyard, while the interior design was entrusted to the care of the English firm Design unlimited.
This shock team having the mission to challenge the competing brands Fjord, Pardo and other Mazu Yachts on their territory, particular care has been given to the deck plan.
Extended by a large hydraulic bathing platform, the cockpit has several possible configurations. Large cockpit with a central rear bench seat leaving free passage on both sides of the boat, and a huge U-shaped deck lounge. A sunbathing area is located at the rear, above the engine room.
The marine behavior is appreciable. Crossing the waves with authority while showing a certain flexibility with the helm in hand, the boat sails on a hull perfectly adapted to Mediterranean conditions. Powered by the new D6 440 CV – which each develop 440 hp – the boat exceeds 38 knots. Note that the shipyard reports a top speed of 42 knots on flat seas and in optimal conditions.
Comfortable, fluid and functional
The simplicity of the layout is another strong point of the boat, with a very segmented appearance giving pride of place to traffic. In the center, the profiled T-top, which includes two translucent panels and can be extended by an electric bimini, houses a summer kitchen, protected under a flap, in addition to the steering position. Equipped as standard with Glass cockpit technology, it has particularly neat contours, with a special mention for the helm. In summary, a magnificent unit ready to sail this season.
