These boats were originally equipped with the notorious Detroit Diesels: extremely reliable but incredibly noisy, heavy, unrefined, with emissions that were anything but reassuring—and today, to make matters worse, quite difficult to service. This boat replaced its Detroit engines back in 2001 with the more modern Caterpillar 3126B DITA units, which were completely overhauled in 2024 and now allow for a cruising speed of 21 knots (invoice available). Since then, they have accumulated fewer than 50 hours of operation.

This Hatteras 45 Convertible has been kept in excellent condition, having been used mainly for day trips. In 2022, both the air-conditioning system and the batteries were replaced.

Mid-ship owner’s cabin with double bed and private bathroom.

Forward guest cabin with bunk beds and separate bathroom.

A sofa bed in the saloon that converts into an additional berth.

Although the onboard electronics are functional, they are largely outdated. The saloon sofa upholstery would also benefit from replacement.

Italian flag and holds a RINA certification valid until 2026.

**This boat lies in Italy and as such, its sale is subject to Italian customs and practices on yachts brokerage, which state that the agency commission of 10% is paid in half between the seller and the buyer.
