The Sparkman & Stevens designed Tartan 40 has been regarded as one of the best sailing sailing cruiser / racer sloosp available in its time. Only 72 were built. All control lines lead aft. Self tailing winches, Harken roller furling jib plus two extra jib sails. Spinnaker with sock, and rigged with new sheets Dodger and cockpit bimini and custom cockpit table seat cushions make room for up to six crew.

Tartan crafted the interior with 100% teak throughout. Plenty of storage and private sleeping arrangements in two cabins with room for two more in the main salon. All cushions are in very good condition. 8 AC outlets and LED lighting everywhere. Screens on 7 opening ports and 6 ventilation hatches plus stainless dorades make the cabin comfortable. A double stainless sink, and water filter are next to the 3 burner propane stove/oven Aft of the galley is a reaward facing chart table with VHF radio and electrical panel. (pictured).
