In 1953, „Baccarat“ was built by the renowned shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen under construction number 4879. The design, numbered 1097, originated from the esteemed naval architects Sparkman & Stephens. She features oakframes, a solid teak deck, and a double-planked mahogany hull. Originally, Baccarat was used for the BermudaClassic Regatta under the flag of the New York Yacht Club. Later, she served as a family yacht in Greece and Antigua. The current owner is the owner since 1996. For the first twelve years, he sailed her primarily in the Netherlands. Since then, she has cruised extensively throughout the Mediterranean and is currently located in Greece.

„Baccarat“ has been under the care of her current owner for over 30 years. During this time, she has completed numerous transatlantic crossings. Baccarat has participated in several distinguished classic yacht regattas over the years, including the Bermuda Classics, the Puig Vela Clàssica in Barcelona, and the Spetses Classic Regatta in Greece.
