Ptarmigan is a solid example of the well renowned Sadler 34 designed and built by Sadler.
Equipped with furling genoa, mainsail (with sail bag and gooseneck cover), adjustable back stay and all lines to the cockpit she can be single handed easily or has sufficient capacity in both the cockpit and below for more.
A capable fin keel sailor, she is propelled by an inboard Volvo diesel that has recently been run (see attached videos) A (e-mail in contact data) will confirm she has a capsize screening formula of 1.84, making her a very stable and seaworthy boat and coupled with a hull speed of 7.07, one that can keep up with the competition.
The sails are in good copndition and have plenty of life in them, feeling crisp to the touch. The UV (sacrificial) strip on the genoa will need replacing but the sail itself is in good condition,
This one is definitely worth considering, as any time put in to bringing her back to her best will invariably give a great return and plenty of enjoyment. She would make a great family boat with a double berth to the fore, a single and a double to the saloon and a double in the stern, a total of 7 berths! Her deep cockpit and high guard rails give a ressuring feel to her in addition to her sea going capabilities.
