Remarks :
This vessel is equipped with a Raymarine Element 7 chartplotter, new 2024, Navtex system, a Garmin chartplotter in the cockpit along with, an autopilot, depth gauge, wind speed & direction indicator, and speed log. The spacious saloon features a convertible double berth, a well-appointed galley with pressurised hot and cold water, and a navigation station.

Accommodation :
This Midget 31 offers a total of six berths across two cabins and the saloon.
The open-plan saloon features a forward booth-style seating area with a central drop-down table that easily converts into a double berth. There is ample storage, including under-berth compartments, side shelves, and cupboards. The space is finished in cream fabric upholstery and varnished teak wood, with four decklights and white curtains, creating a bright and airy atmosphere.
Moving aft, on the port side, you’ll find a rear-facing navigation station equipped with chart and draw storage, vessel control switches, and navigation instruments such as a Raymarine Element 7 chartplotter new 2024, Navtex system, VHF radio, CD/FM radio with saloon speakers, a clock, barometer, and 12V sockets.
The galley is on the starboard side aft of the saloon. It includes a single stainless-steel sink with pressurised hot and cold water, a gimbaled two-burner gas hob with oven and grill, a 12-volt top-loading countertop fridge, and storage space. Hot water is supplied by a Calfire water heater and a 240V immersion heater.
The heads are located to port and include a stainless-steel sink set in a varnished teak wood vanity unit, with pressurised hot and cold water, a shower attachment with built-in shower tray, a wall-mounted mirror, and a marine toilet, new 2023 that pumps to either a holding tank or directly overboard.
At the stern of the saloon, to both port and starboard, are two double-berth cabins. Each cabin features under-berth storage, hanging space, side shelves, a 240V socket, and a porthole for natural light.
The companionway leads up to a generously sized aft cockpit for a boat of this size. It features bench seating and two storage lockers, one on each side. The cockpit is equipped with a digital compass, Garmin chartplotter, depth gauge, wind direction indicator, speed log, engine controls, and a tiller.

History & Construction
Built in 2005, this Midget 31 features a white GRP hull and superstructure with moulded non-slip decks, long keel, with a transom-hung rudder and tiller steering.
The vessel benefits from a self-draining cockpit, stainless steel stanchions, pulpit, and twin aft lockers. This vessel was last ashore in 2023 for antifouling, replacement anodes and a hull polish.
The Midget 31, designed and built in the Netherlands, is known for its solid construction, traditional lines, and capable seakeeping. With a deck-stepped Selden aluminium mast and boom with a masthead Bermudan sloop rig, and is fitted with in-boom furling for the mainsail and a Furlex furling headsail ideal for single or short-handed cruising. The running rigging was replaced in 2023.
The yacht is powered by a 2005 25HP Vetus diesel engine driving a three-bladed fixed prop via shaft. This engine was last serviced by the owner in 2024.
The owner has enjoyed restoring the vessel for the last 2 years and is now looking to sell and move onto there next project.

This Midget 31 has a Bermudan sloop masthead rig, featuring a 2005 deck-stepped aluminium Selden mast and boom, fitted with a kicker and the age of the stainless steel standing rigging is unknown, but new running rigging was installed in 2023.
The sail setup includes a Furlex furling headsail and an in-boom furling mainsail with a boom cover. All lines are led aft to the cockpit through halyard clutches and serviced by a single halyard winch, allowing for easy single-handed sailing.

Mechanical Systems:
This Midget 31 has a single 2005, 3-cylinder, 25hp Vetus diesel engine powering a shaft-driven three-bladed fixed propeller.
The engine was last serviced by the owner in 2024. The Vetus engine is supplied by a 91-litre capacity stainless steel fuel tank. This yacht will cruise at approximately 5 knots and has an approximate maximum speed of 7 knots. The Vetus engine hours are 747 as at 19th May 2025.
Electrical Systems:
3 x 12-volt batteries (1 x engine 2023) + (2 x Domestic batteries) charging from the alternator and a coach roof-mounted solar panel.
This Midget 31 also benefits from a 240-volt ring main throughout the vessel, an immersion heater and a Victron battery charger. A battery Victron management system was installed in 2023 and ensures optimal performance of the electrical setup onboard.
