If you’re looking for a classic-styled coastal cruiser that stands out visually, has good build heritage, and offers better performance with its fixed deeper keel, the Crabber 24 Mk IV is a very appealing option. It’s especially suited to sailors who appreciate traditional rigging, aesthetics, and are comfortable with a slightly smaller scale cruiser (24 ft) and perhaps modest interior headroom.
“Meraki” is a very lightly used Cornish Crabber Mk IV in excellent condition. The boat was initially sold in 2005 then remained in storage in Crabbers yard before being sold to the second owner in 2015. As a result, she looks more like a 10-year-old boat rather than the 20 years that she is. She had considerable works done in 2022/23 including, rigging checks and refurbishment, cockpit teak replaced, engine service and cutlass bearing replaced.
