The lobster boat Pedro is an extraordinary, one-off interpretation of the classic American lobster yacht, born from the passion of a private owner, the design expertise of Aldo Gatti (Geometrie Marine Studio), and the master craftsmanship of the historic Cantiere Leopoldo Colombo on Lake Como. Effortlessly turning heads in any harbour, a true gentleman’s launch, perfectly suited to prestigious regattas, and weekends.
Built entirely in wood and based on the proven Rose Island 38’ hull, Pedro combines timeless elegance with outstanding seaworthiness. From keel to mast, there is not a single fiberglass component on board. Her construction features oak frames, triple-laminated mahogany planking, solid and plywood mahogany superstructures, and a beautifully laid teak deck. Exterior lines are defined by a classic transom stern, softly rounded aft topsides, and a distinctive forward deckhouse with oval portholes.
The interior offers an elegant and practical layout with a bright open-plan saloon, galley, and helm on the main deck. Below, accommodation includes a twin guest cabin, a bathroom with shower, and a forward owner’s cabin. All upholstery, fabrics, and linens were custom-made by Barani, with the yacht’s name hand-embroidered throughout.
Fully equipped for comfortable cruising, Pedro features complete SIMRAD navigation electronics, generator, trim tabs, remote-controlled gangway, hot and cold exterior shower, aft mooring winch, and bespoke wooden side fenders.
