General Description
This phenomenal Tri-Deck is a 40 meter Motor Yacht, built in the United Kingdom by Sunseeker and delivered in 2010. Sunseeker 40M’s iconic design is instantly recognisable the whole world over. This yacht was originally built for an owner who wanted the ability to host large numbers of guests and the versatility to entertain both family members and business associates on board. As a result, the configuration features expansive social spaces yet retains several areas that have a more cozy and intimate design.
She is unique in being built with 7 en-suited staterooms (1 enormous main deck master / 2 double VIP / 4 twin) which can accommodate up to 14 guests, with 7 crew members waiting on their every need. Timeless styling, beautiful furnishings and sumptuous seating feature throughout to create an elegant and comfortable atmosphere.
The impressive leisure and entertainment facilities make her the ideal yacht for socializing and entertaining with family and friends. Owning a Sunseeker has been likened to joining a private members club; distinguished yet unashamedly ostentatious. The sheer scale offered in the exterior and interior design is really the main selling point of this motor yacht. She boasts zero-speed fin stabilizers, jacuzzi, hydraulic swim platform, tropical strength air-conditioning and countless other features (see Equipment List in this brochure).
Her top speed is 27 knots while the cruising speed is 23 knots – driven by twin screw MTU 16V 4000 M93L 4680 HP (9360 HP in total) diesel engines which have a mere 1900 hours use – she was not a charter yacht.
She has gross tonnage of 338.0 GT, a maximum draft of 2.85m and an 8.09m beam. The yacht carries 30,030 liters of fuel and 4,039 liters of water on board. Equipped with long-range tanks, she will travel 2000 Nm at 10 knots.
Boasting a semi-displacement GRP hull and GRP superstructure, she was built to RINA Private classification society rules. Her most recent RINA inspection was on 26 October 2021 with the current RINA certification valid until 8 July 2025.
In 2022 she had a lot of work done and presents in superb shape:
+ Generators : finished a top overhaul
+ Main engines : finished an overhaul including turbo, intercooler, head gaskets, 32 new injectors …
+ Upper teak and platform teak replaced
+ All internal wooden doors refurbished / replaced
+ New satellite TV + new Satellite phone
