The Bavaria 38 Ocean was Bavaria’s first centre cockpit model and proved to be a very
successful cruiser. Easy to sail short handed with in mast furling and all lines led back to the
safe and comfortable cockpit. Spacious saloon with great headroom, good size of chart table
and a galley with plenty of storage. The aft master cabin features a centreline queen bed with
ample storage. Forward double berth cabin. Built to Germanischer Lloyd specifications, the
construction, safety and ease of handling, are all of a higher than expected standard on this
Bavaria 38 Ocean.

Accommodation :
Forward cabin with double V berth, storage and port and starboard hanging lockers. Door
through to the saloon with L shaped settee to port, bench settee to starboard, both can be used
as single berths. Central dining table with drop leaves. Opening roof hatch and opening
portholes. Chart table to starboard. Aft of this is a door to the heads, linear galley to port with
excellent worktop space. Passageway to aft cabin with large centreline double berth, good
storage, hanging lockers. Door to heads. The access to the front of the engine is under the
companionway and there is also a large removable panel in passageway to aft cabin to access
the engine and sail drive.
