The Etap 39S is a popular model due to its spacious ergonomic cockpit, good sailing qualities, and spacious interior layout.
The cockpit is spacious and features a wide seat behind the steering wheel with the steering column equipped with an Axiom chartplotter, bow thruster control, and below-deck autopilot. The sheeting is led to the middle of the cockpit and within reach of the helmsman, all halyards and lines are under the (partly) fixed sprayhood.
The interior is spacious with 2 cabins. Directly upon entry to starboard is the navigation area with seating and various built-in equipment. To port is the lockable wet room with generous storage space and lockable toilet. Thanks to its longitudinal galley, there is plenty of workspace and a large top-loading fridge. The cabinets are deep and there is ample storage space. The cozy seating area to starboard (with height-adjustable dining table top, which can be converted into an extra double sleeping place.)
In the bow is a double V-bed with sink and there are storage compartments and closet space all around. In the aft is a double bed with bookshelf and closet space with hanging/laying space.
